49. Keith Ancrum, Caregiver, Retired Army First Sergeant Veteran, and President & Founder of Evelyn Ancrum Education Support System, Inc. (aka EAESSI), a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization

Our guest is Keith Ancrum, a compassionate caregiver, distinguished Retired Army First Sergeant Veteran, and the visionary President and Founder of Evelyn Ancrum Education Support System, Inc. (EAESSI), a beacon of hope as a 501(c)(3) Nonprofit Organization. Keith courageously recounted his deeply personal journey of supporting two cherished individuals battling cancer, all while leaning on his unwavering faith in God. After his wife overcame a second recurrence of breast cancer while both of them were serving in the Army, his mother passed of lung cancer. Years later, Keith found himself once again at the forefront of caregiving, this time for his wife as she faced a third recurrence of breast cancer. His transparency and vulnerability throughout the interview serve as a beacon of hope for spouses and caregivers navigating the turbulent seas of unexpected trials, offering solace and inspiration in the face of adversity.
