Mich interessiert, welche Rolle Schmuck in deren Leben spielt, ich will wissen, was sie motiviert, fasziniert, inspiriert – wo sie herkommen und wo sie hinwollen. Es geht um besondere Schmuckmomente, dieses besondere Schmuckgefühl und wie es ist, sein Leben danach auszurichten. Diese Menschen treffe ich in ihren Werkstätten und hier in München auf dem tragbar-Sofa.

Maja Stojkovska was playing with glass beads when she was little. Since then she has worked with what she finds – and with the given conditions. Born and raised in Macedonia, she quickly found out that the number of people interested in contemporary jewellery was very limited. So she went out into the world and found a place full of like-minded people, Munich.
