On my show, I aim to create a space that allows us all to hear each other's points of view. Constructive dialog helps us all realize that truly hearing another person's story can enrich our lives. After all, when you walk in Other People's Shoes, you really do get a different perspective on life.

✨ NEW EPISODE: *Bitter Herbs* ✨
Zach Tidwell’s life was a series of blows no one should have to endure. 💔
* Betrayal on deployment.
* A motorcycle accident that caused a severe traumatic brain injury.
* A downward spiral into anger, alcohol, and despair.
On March 31, 2019, Zach hit rock bottom. He placed a Glock 19 to his face and pulled the trigger. Against all odds, he survived.
When he woke from life support, Zach was blind and deaf in one ear. His body bore the scars of survival, but his spirit refused to be buried.
🌄 Within eight months, he was snowboarding in the Rockies.
🎓 He returned to school, determined to tackle accessibility barriers.
🥋 He pushes himself through skiing, kayaking, skydiving, and even Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
👣 Zach’s story is raw, painful, and profoundly hopeful. He reminds us that sometimes life serves us bitter herbs—but even bitterness can shape resilience, courage, and a hunger to live again.
During #SuicidePreventionWeek, may Zach’s voice remind you: your story is not over.
