Cardiac Risk Assessment

This talk will focus on a review of guideline-based risk assessment for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. We will define risk severity for both primary and secondary prevention with the help of some risk calculator tools. We will define risk-enhancing factors for cardiovascular disease and their appropriate utilization, with special focus on coronary artery calcium score and lipoprotein(a).
