This week’s guest is Hakim Mhadhbi, who’ll be giving us some insight into the osteopathic profession in France, as well as discussing his own work in the field. We discuss how he was first introduced to osteopathy, his passion for osteopathic education, his solidarity-based project Ostéopathie Solidarité International (OSI) and his studies on the new Master’s Degree programme for European osteopaths in Finland.
Hakim qualified as an Osteopath in 2005 and currently works full time at the Institut d’Ostéopathie de Rennes where he is head of the Clinical and the International Departments. He has also completed a Masters Degree in Sports Biomechanics in 2013. His current research interest includes innovation in osteopathic education.
The OSI (Ostéopathie Solidarité International) is an association created in 2021 by the Institut d'Ostéopathie de Rennes-Bretagne, to promote exchanges in the field of osteopathy training through solidarity (free osteopathic care), student mobility and of teachers, training and research. To support the OSI, you can contact them via email osi@io-rennes.fr, Instagram @osi_osteopathie and Facebook @OSI. To donate, please follow the link below:
