In Mark 10:13-16, we see a powerful picture of Jesus’ heart toward children and the lessons He teaches us through them. The disciples viewed children as unimportant and without value, while today’s culture often treats children as problems rather than blessings. Yet, Jesus shows us something different—He loves children deeply, welcomes them, and even uses them as a model for faith. Children naturally receive Him, trust their parents and grandparents, accept gifts with joy, and display a simple, pure faith that we as adults often lose. Jesus reminds us that to enter the kingdom of God, we must become like children—growing in trust, dependence, forgiveness, and love. As parents, leaders, and believers, we are called to bless our kids, pray over them, and guide them in their walk with the Lord. Join us as we explore what it means to have childlike faith and why becoming “like a child” is vital to following Jesus.
