6. A Burning Love For All

One of the dominant sides of Rav Kook’s personality, and foundational to his perspective on life, was the emotion of love. He simply loved everything that lived: “I can’t help but love all beings, all nations… Great is my love for all beings, for all reality. G-d forbid I allow into my heart even a hint of mischief, of hatred, of beings. I feel in full force my great love for all beings.” In this episode, we will hear how he related to all others with such love, including to his fierce opponents.
