Jamilah F. Bashir, with a BA in Special Education, MS in Education, and MS in Educational Leadership, leverages over 20 years of experience as a former Special Education Teacher and Supervisor to empower educators and parents. As an Education Consultant and IEP Coach, she guides teachers in balancing their professional responsibilities with personal well-being and assists parents through the IEP process. A respected voice in special education, Jamilah has shared her insights at the Educators Moving On (EMON) LIVE 2022 Conference and the 12th Annual Progressive Education Summit, and on podcasts like Scholastically Speaking and the Stress FREE IEP Podcast. In addition, she will be one of the presenters at this year’s 2024 Autism in Black conference. Her contributions have earned her accolades such as the Advocate for Me, LLC, and Jordan A. Smith Foundation Award.
