Land Politics, Food Sovereignty, and Climate Change Through Film: An Interview with David Curtis

In this second episode of Organic Matters, I interview David Curtis, director of the newly released film called Sovereign Soil. This film takes viewers on a  journey through the beautiful northern landscapes surrounding Dawson City, Yukon, through the eyes of the people and farmers that call that place home.

While we attempted to centre our conversation around his film, we couldn't help but dive deeper into the issues that the film presents: northern food security, food sovereignty, agriculture, climate change, and both Indigenous and settler relationships to land.
