When a major cyberattack occurs, global decision-makers and the media rightly focus on the target institutions, the dollar amount, and the policy side – but the very real experiences and impacts at the individual level are often ignored or misunderstood.
Earlier this year, Digital Peace Now launched a campaign called #StillVulnerable - a collection of real stories from people who have been personally impacted by disruptive and dangerous cyberattacks. By sharing these stories, DPN hopes to humanise the experience and show the world that cyberattacks do not discriminate — they can impact anyone, regardless of their background – making us all #StillVulnerable.
Each story is accompanied by an original piece of digital art, developed exclusively by DPN, that captures the feeling of vulnerability in cyberspace under attack.
