The Polaris Dawn mission is a groundbreaking endeavor by SpaceX, set to push the boundaries of human space exploration. Scheduled to launch in late 2024, this mission marks the beginning of the Polaris Program, which is designed to advance human spaceflight capabilities and foster the development of space technologies. Another significant milestone for Polaris Dawn is the inclusion of the first commercial extravehicular activity (EVA), or spacewalk, conducted by SpaceX astronauts. This EVA will serve as a critical test for the next-generation spacesuits that are being developed for future missions to the Moon and Mars.
