Operation Gundam Histroy is a podcast to serve as a guide and history of the universe that is Mobile Suit Gundam. Gundam is a franchise that has been around for over 40 years (42 as of 2021). It has propelled itself to be not only an influence in science-fiction media, the ‘brand’ is considered iconic and the de facto mech anime. In fact, you may not have watched it but you would likely recognize the original Mobile Suit if you saw it.

HAPPY NEW YEAR! Welcome to 2022, where my podcast about Gundam still exist and we're all hungover after excessive drinking last night. Have no fear, as you get your coffee going, sit back and listen as we meet our current protag, Shiro Amada.

The 08th MS Team takes plcae in the year 0079 U.C. just as Garma Zabi's funeral is taking place. Shiro is being sent to earth to lead a new team in the jungle but sees a fellow Federation soldier in trouble. He risk his life to save them but in the process gets stranded with a Zeon soldier...who happens to be a lady and also his love interest. Two days later, Shiro lands in the jungle and meets the rest of his team and the base. As leader he is determined to bring his people home, eve if he gets lost in the process.
