April commemorates Alcohol Awareness Month, so The NPSi Med Club wanted to sidestep from the regular ethics discussions to discuss the symptoms of alcoholism, how they relate to cognitive dissonance, both from the patient and from the healthcare community, and why this dissonance must be overcome before progress can be made to help addicts.
