Bittersweet Race. I won the 5k in a time of 18:44. Was a little slow.  I ran 20 miles yesterday and biked 20 miles and didnt get done till 9:15 pm and the race started at 9 am so didnt have much time to recover. Which is why I was a little slower then I have been over the last few weeks. Felt good though once I got started. Legs fully loosened up a couple tenths in, did not have much juice though. Was chilly not even 50 degrees. Once I took lead I just buried and gaped field rest of way.

The reason I say this was bittersweet was because it was the race timers last race he was ever timing. I really wanted to win because of that reason. Ive known him for 10ish years now. So I dedicate the race to him.

Happy i went and obviously because I won. Its a hard 5k course.
