Ep. 100: A Celebrity's Place in Crimes Against Humanity

TW: This episode contains explicit descriptions of genocidal violence. Viewer discretion is advised.

In this episode, I mention concrete steps that you can take towards making a difference, beyond celebrity idol worship, but didn't specifically describe what you can do. 6 ways you can support Palestinians in Gaza provides actionable steps, and includes all the links and resources to embolden you to contact your local representatives, participate in protests, and highlights Palestinian art. The link also includes relief funds where you can donate.

Gazans Are Starving to Death. Here’s How to Help, which provides links to the following aid organizations:

  • Reviving Gaza, which distributes filtered water, hot meals, and dry-food parcels to victims of the war. It also offers cash aid to Gazans. You can back its efforts by donating here.
  • Amal for Palestine, which provides financial help, supplies, water, and meals to people in north Gaza. You can donate here.
  • The Sameer Project, which said last week that it is currently unable to feed Gazans because it can’t find food. However, the group is still providing water, tents, and medications to people on the ground. You can donate to support its work here.
  • Gaza Soup Kitchen, which provides meals to displaced families by sourcing ingredients from remaining farms in north Gaza. You can support Gaza Soup Kitchen by donating here.
  • Dignity for Palestine, which supports displaced Gazans with food parcels, clean water, and medications. You can donate to its efforts here.
  • Oxfam, which works with local partners to provide a wide range of humanitarian aid and is fundraising to scale up its response wherever it’s allowed. You can donate to its emergency appeal here.
