
Most people that we talk to come in with a story about wanting to improve their lives for the sake of their kids. They want to be around for as long as they can for their kids, and enjoy their life as much as possible with them.
Not very often do we get to speak to someone who is preparing to bring a grandchild on board, and is faced with some necessary lifestyle changes in front of them. This was Karen Marshall's story when she first started at CrossFit FUNCTION.
What Karen didn't know is that all the small changes she would make in her life would lead to much more than just being able to carry her grandchild around.
Today, Karen is going to tell you her story about how she began, how "elementary" her approach might have seemed, and how it became so much more than that. Her consistent time in the gym and efforts with her food translated into LIFE CHANGING health benefits that would add years to her life.
And considering that she started this whole journey to be there for her grandchild in her best form possible? That would become mighty important.
