One Badass (Working) Mother is a podcast that explores the relationship between work and motherhood. I'm Catherine Ferguson and I'm a life and career coach for moms who want to rediscover their passions, redefine what they want out of their work and reinvent their careers and themselves. In this podcast, I talk to REAL moms who have done just that. They've launched businesses, turned passion-projects into full-time gigs, switched industries, all while raising children and having babies. The point is this: work and motherhood looks different for everyone. There is not one "right" way to do it.

Ep. 1: One Badass (Working) Mother

Welcome to the One Badass (Working) Mother podcast! This podcast is designed to change the narrative around motherhood and work. To help you reframe what work means to you and consider how it can be a source of fulfillment, creativity, inspiration and motivation EVEN as a mom.

I'm Catherine Ferguson and I'm a life and career coach for moms. I help women rediscover their passions, redefine what's important to them and reinvent their careers and themselves. Work does NOT have to be a four letter word. In fact, every woman deserves the right to pursue work that she wants to do so she can make the connection, contribution and impact that she wants to make.

So in this podcast, we'll be exploring what it actually looks like to be a working mother. We'll talk to REAL moms who have changed everything about their work lives, even in the midst of having babies and raising children.

The point is that working motherhood is not one-size-fits-all. It looks different for everybody. So it's time that we as women step away from what we think we "should" be doing, and start asking ourselves what we WANT to be doing. Because the best way to care for our children is to care for ourselves, first. And that includes the work we do.

Thanks for being here!
