Autism and Video Games

Sometimes, video games can be essential coping mechanisms for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In this episode, I talk with Gabriel Dillon about his use of video games and how they help his physical and mental well-being. I also talk about the positive consequences of playing video games when it is balanced within a day. Gabe and I discuss overstimulation and how certain video games overstimulate versus under-stimulate his brain.
