On Delphine LaLaurie: The Mythologizing of a Murderer Part 2

PART 2: In the spring of 1834, a fire broke out in a mansion in the French Quarter of New Orleans. First respondents to the emergency had no idea that this fire would incite riots, rumours, and, now, a centuries-old ghost story. “On Delphine LaLaurie: The Mythologizing of a Murderer” is an investigation of the evolution and reception of this ghost story that revolves around the actions of enslaver and socialite Delphine LaLaurie.

Special thanks to my good friend Skye Rutherford for her wonderful musical composition as well as to my Masters degree cohort for helping me through hard times, yes that includes you Nikki.
