She graduated summa cum laude from both Clear Brook High School and Texas Tech University. She matriculated to Texas Tech Medical School, where she was inducted into the illustrious Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. She graduated with a dual degree in medicine and health administration. She then trained at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in Galveston, TX where she served as Chief Resident in dermatology. Dr. Fangtang has clinical interests in medical, surgical, cosmetic, and skin of color dermatology.
