What motivated Jay to fully commit and give it 100% was being told otherwise, he was being told he was not going to be part of that world. Soon, Jay become in love with martial arts which eventually led him to underground ring fights in NYC. After having a well know reputation he was invited to fight for Bellator. Also, after attending 20+ spartan races, Spartan sign him on and now he is sponsored by them.
