In the UK we have 350 different words for mud, not quite as enchanting as Iceland's 100 words for snow, granted. But these words, derived from dialects, and often with folklorish roots can describe an experience or place so viscerally. For the fourth episode in our series on rewilding we've set up camp in Tom's shed, from where he tends to his tomatoes. Tom is joined again by Anna Souter, co-curator of Rewind/Rewild, to discuss how language can strengthen our memories of, and connections to the landscape around us. As part of the Rewind/Rewild exhibition, Anna invited thought leaders and creatives working in the area of rewilding to talk about their areas of expertise.
