After the revival we see happening in Nehemiah 9, now the people are willingly making a covenant with the Lord binding themselves to obey all his commands and calling for curses in case of disobedience. We see the name of Nehemiah first, and rightly so. But we don't find the high priest Eliashib not mentioned, because his family record is not clean. He had given children to be married outside of Jewish faith. We don't see the name of Ezra as well, but his father Seraiah is mentioned which includes Ezra in the list indirectly.
