Promocast 1: Conversation with Palestinian Textile Artist Kiki Salem
In our first promocast release, Olive Oil & Time host Nourah sits down with Chicago based Palestinian textile artist Kiki Salem to discuss how she weaves her identity through her art. This conversation focuses on "futurizing" our traditional cultures as Palestinian youth in diaspora in order to recreate and create our identities and communities to face our modern challenges and cultivate love and worth in our lives.
Olive Oil & Time's promocasts will be released as a mini series alongside our podcasts, with the aims to promote the amazing work of Palestinians in the diaspora, as well as the watan. Please check out our Facebook page @oliveoilandtime for more information and resources on this promocast, as well as staying up-to-day with our coming podcast series.
