OU's 24-13 win over Michigan makes a statement to the nation
Oklahoma defeats Michigan 24-13 in front of a nationally televised audience and they make a statement to the rest of college football. The Sooners are a team to be respected on both sides of the ball and John Mateer used his arm and his legs to put together a performance worthy of a Heisman Trophy candidate. The OU defense pummeled Michigan's physical offense throughout the day. And even though some special teams miscues took away from the overall performance of the win, this is an OU team that looks like it can turn around and start competing at a level OU fans expect.
