This week Sarah chats with Sean Hogue, Marine Assurance Lead with London Offshore Consultants in Houston. Sean is a bit of a dynamic positioning guru and helped develop the LOC Replay Analysis tool. The Replay Analysis supports legal clients by offering playback of incidents using scale 3D models within Google Earth. This allows for exact positioning, with the ability to add layers such as satellite imagery, nautical charts, or engineered drawings. Our video playback capability also offers the ability to add time-synced audio recordings recovered from the Voyage Data Recorder or other sources. This lets us visualize the incident as it happened, from any angle, with a fast turnaround time.
