In late 2020, here in Aotearoa. New Zealand a friend of mine had the second event on his property where conscious intention, plant medicine, service to others, and celebration of life were melded into a vibrant energetic dance. It was a a transformative and sacred experience for many who understood the power of bringing all these aspects of life together. For me it would be a life changer. I had never taken Huachuma, the grandfather medicine of San Pedro cactus, but that night with the reverence like I had for no other plant, I ingested a brew that healed my shattered heart and connected me to a greater sense of purpose in life that had been lost to me since March 2020. 

I have been to two more Healing Hearts ceremonies with clear intentions and a strong focus on service to those who participate. The medicine that I have taken has only accentuated the level of integration with deep knowledge always available to us, and this has often come from the conversations I have had with those at the ceremony. Through this experience, I have come to understand what my dear friend Tabaash means when he says, 'One life, many bodies'. We are all one consciousness experiencing itself subjectively (thank you Bill Hicks).
