Although she grew up with a speech impediment, Monica was never aware of it or felt different from other children. She did, however, realize at a young age that she saw the world differently, which enabled her to challenge the status quo. This manifested in the desire to have her own business at age 12, after coming from a long line of blue-collar workers; and also in her writing, which she developed out of her desire to communicate and be understood. From childhood to now running her own speaking & coaching business, God has been using Monica’s voice to inspire, equip and empower other women to speak up.
