Ally Sentnor is a professional soccer player for Utah Royals FC in the National Women’s Soccer League. Before joining Utah Royals, she spent two years playing for North Carolina’s Women’s Soccer Team. Internationally, Ally has represented the U.S. Women’s National Team at the Under-17 and Under-20 levels.
Watching the U.S. Women’s National Team win the FIFA Women’s World Cup and competing for North Carolina inspired Ally to pursue a professional soccer career. She worked hard to make that dream come true. After two years at North Carolina, she was selected first overall by Utah Royals FC in the 2024 National Women’s Soccer League Draft. Since then, she has played an important role on the team this season. Ally doesn’t want to just be the best professional soccer player on the field, but also off the field. She has a mission to inspire more women and girls to pursue a career in professional soccer. Despite being a professional soccer player, Ally wants to be known simply as a human being. Aside from soccer, she values friendships, which have played a big role in both her career and personal life.
