as a journalist whose worked on tv as an anchor and reporter, I always gravitated towards telling emotional and positive stories. Whether it was about the struggles and personal lives of athletes and coaches off the field -- or hard news stories -- I always enjoyed the more vulnerable interviews and off-the-record conversations. Now, I'll be bringing those kinds of impactful stories to you by chatting with my friends in the sports industry, acting industry and more... to show you their struggles and successes. Sit back and enjoy!

Adam Rittenberg

Adam Rittenberg is a national college football reporter for ESPN. He joined ESPN in 2008 and also worked as a sports writer for the Daily Herald prior to that. Adam is one of my closest mentors, he was my professor at DePaul University. In this episode, we discuss his journey into the sports journalism world, some of the toughest stories he's covered, how NIL has changed the college football landscape, his Jewish roots and more.
