In collaboration with the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health’s Office of Violence Prevention, youth mental health advocate Sophie Szew leads a powerful effort to address youth suicide through education, advocacy, and connection. This initiative centers the lived experiences of young people, uplifts marginalized voices—including those in the LGBTQIA+ community—and promotes access to resources that foster mental wellness, resilience, and hope. Together, we are creating safe spaces where youth are heard, supported, and empowered to thrive.
