Ivar van Bekkum en Esther Polak (kunstenaarsduo PolakVanBekkum) maakten deze binaurale opnames (luister met headphones!) voor de online edities van het OEROL festival in 2020 en 2021; om op afstand te kunnen genieten van het eilandgevoel. In 2021 ging een aantal mensen je voor. Al deze mensen hebben een persoonlijke band met een ánder eiland: het eiland Curacao.
