This was the last Sunday for Dr. McIntyre as pastor of Brainerd Baptist Church in Chattanooga,Tennessee. The service was dedicated to baptisms and the Lord's Supper led by Dr. McIntyre.
The service was brought to a close with Harry Hampsher leading the congregation in the singing of "Amazing Grace."

Harry Hampsher sang "Something About That Name."

For nearly 2 1/2 hours the congregation sang favorite hymns of the faith interspersed with selections by the choir, the men's quartet, female soloists, a ladies group, the bell choir, a ladies duet, piano and organ selections, a ladies quartet and two solo selections by Harry Hampsher singing "It Took a Miracle" and "He Touched Me."
The evening concluded with the congregation singing "Amazing Grace" in the Brainerd style with closing remarks by Dr. McIntyre.
