This is one of the great myths of the beginner artist:

"- I cannot draw, so I'll never be an artist." 

Now, what this usually means is that that person finds it difficult to copy the lines of reality. 

And this is not knowing "how to draw"; it is rather not knowing how to draw from the point of view of realism. 

We are therefore confusing the technique of figurative approach with the unique personal drawing style itself.
