Have you heard of the SDGs? What do they mean, and why are more and more universities establishing SDG offices? Why is sustainability important to higher education?
In this episode, we talk about NYCU’s Sustainability Month and the Bamboo Festival, an art event centered on sustainability. Through a series of campus activities and a months-long art exhibition, sustainability becomes part of everyday campus life. From artworks made with tree branches and recycled clothing, these creative projects not only redefine art itself but also reshape how we imagine our campus environment.
Apart from the secondhand clothing apps and renovated old-house cafés mentioned in the episode, what other cool, sustainability-inspired ideas can you think of? Share them with us in the comments!
