S2 Ep. 8 - Matt Anderson & Slam Anderson

In this episode of "Nurturing Well-Being with Kurt Kelly" from our 2022 Conference Series, we have two incredible guests who are passionate about empowering and advocating for marginalized communities, particularly children and families. First up is Matt Anderson, a social entrepreneur who is committed to transforming America's foster care system to ensure that families can thrive. Matt believes in the power of listening to people's stories, learning from their experiences, and working together to create meaningful change. He will share insights on how we can better support and nurture children in the foster care system.

Our second guest is Slam Anderson, the Outreach Director for The Kitchen Table Literary Arts Center, a nonprofit organization that builds awareness, appreciation, and support for Women of Color and Black women writers. Slam is a youth/adult facilitator, spoken word artist, and writer who has a deep understanding of the power of words and storytelling. She will speak about how we can use creative expression to help children build self-esteem, resilience, and a sense of community.

Join us for an inspiring and insightful conversation with Matt Anderson and Slam Anderson as they share their perspectives on nurturing children and creating a more inclusive and equitable society.
