In this episode, Dr. Beverly Malone, Chief Executive Officer for the National League for Nursing, speaks with recent nursing school graduate Brooke Trigiani of Rutgers University School of Nursing in Camden, New Jersey, on the transition from being a student nurse to becoming an active registered nurse in the community. Dr. Malone passes on her words of advice in becoming a leader both in the hospital and politically as a nurse.

This interview was conducted on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, at the National League for Nursing Headquarters in Washington D.C.
