
This week’s episode of Off The Record featured our Art of the Matter segment with Carey Courson where she discussed upcoming events to look forward to in the NSU Arts community. After that segment the 5-minute news segment with Antonio Escorzon, the Editor-in Chief of The Current and Madison Kasper, Mako TV’s General Manager gave us the latest of what to expect in Issue 3 of the Current and the weekly newscast.
Following those segments, Sadreena Colonel, who is the assistant director of Student Experience, joined to talk about Homecoming and other upcoming events which included Greek Life updates etc. Once we got the scoop on Campus Life, sports followed with Ryan Romero where he talked about volleyball, soccer, golf and the upcoming basketball season. The mental health segment featured DJ Naty where we discussed some wellness tips for the upcoming Fall season. Lastly we had our pop culture segments discussing topics like Bad Bunny headlining the Superbowl Halftime show, Taylor Swift’s new album, and much more!
