We've all seen it while shopping for a new tv. A tv which has a 60Hz refresh rate, but says it has 120Hz motion rate. What is motion rate on a tv? Is it real 120Hz? Is it fake 120Hz? It all depends. Next time you go shopping for a tv check to make sure if it has 120Hz refresh rate or 120Hz motion rate. By the way most manufacturers have a motion rate technology. So it isn't just Samsung vs LG. I'm just comparing the two tvs I purchased.
