Have you ever hit a bottom in your life? Have you ever been at a point so low that there was nowhere to go but up? If this is you. If you have overcome tough circumstances, or challenging life changing situations. You are in the right place! “Nowhere To Go But Up” was born from my own life experiences. I am a survivor of my own bad decisions, trauma, addiction, narcissism, toxicity, prison, self sabotage and the list goes on and on. One day after over 20 years of struggling with all of the symptoms of a being broken person, in 2010 I decided to change my story.

#189 TEDx Speaker Madeleine Black Shares How She Chose To (F)ace (E)verything (A)nd (R)ise... Recorded 12/9/2020

In this episode I speak to Madeleine Black. This episode was recorded in early December of 2020 and is evergreen. I had stumbled across Madeleine's TEDx talk and reached out to have her on the podcast.

Madeleine Black is a British author who wrote the book "Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption." The book is a memoir about her experiences as a survivor of sexual violence and her journey to recovery and healing. Black has used her personal story to advocate for survivors of sexual violence and to raise awareness about the issue.
