Transition and movement is an important factor in our lives; an element conducive to ideas of freedom and independence, but is sorely lacking when looking to the laws and policies passed that kmakes this more difficult. I wanted to have a conversation about this point through a novel about magic, and its latent potential accessed through focus and opportunity, similar to how we could imagine education or food or wages.
