note on: saying no and boundaries 101

Hello, hello! This is the pilot episode of the new series, "note on"! This series focuses more on topics that concern the average eldest daughter: setting boundaries, cultural expectations, mental health, friendships and dating, and finding your voice beyond family duty, among many other topics! The series is more in-depth, exploring my own personal journeys with these topics, some journal prompts I utilized to work through the tough moments, as well as practical tips and reminders to help fellow eldest daughters (and anyone else tuning in). "note on" is a project that I hold close to my heart and I hope you're able to take something away from it, even if it's just one piece of the puzzle we call life!

Chapters:

2:02 - Personal journey with ‘saying no’

5:13 - Psychology of ‘saying no’ + quiz

7:53 - Journal prompts to saying no

8:54 - Tips and reminders for “saying no”

11:27 - Personal journey with boundaries + quiz

19:38 - Psychology of ‘boundaries’

20:44: the eldest daughter relationship with and to boundaries

26:22 - Journal prompts for determining, establishing, and maintaining boundaries

29:58 - Tips and reminders for setting, establishing, and maintaining boundaries

33:44 - challenge of the week

34:21 - Outro
