Jacinta Dietrich is a neurodivergent and bisexual writer, editor and podcaster based in Naarm, Melbourne.
She is the founder and co-host of Differently Brained, an own voices podcast where each fortnight they interview a neurodivergent guest or a guest who has experienced mental health challenges.
They have been featured on Apple Podcasts and regularly chart in the Australian and New Zealand Health & Fitness and Mental Health categories. Jacinta is an emerging voice in this community, advocating for better representation and less stigma.
She has also been interviewed about neurodivergence for The Yellow Ladybugs 2023 conference, Women Love Tech, the Sharesies Investor Stories series, the Neurodiverse Noise podcast, the ChangeMakers podcast and the Out of the Ordinary podcast.
Our chat included topics such as stigma, gender, age, neuro-affirming practices, autism and ADHD, and owning a podcast!
We touch briefly on the Senate Inquiry with ADHD and although this was records months ago, it is still relevant and making change today.
