Welcome to Norseman Radio!

This is the radio station for you, if you'd like to listen to interesting and intriguing stories and informative triathlon advice from the Norseman Xtreme Triathlon.

This radio station is not just for those who'd like to jump off the back of a car ferry into the freezing cold fjord waters of Norway, cycle across the endless barren plateau of Hardangervidda or run up Zombie Hill! Although, we have many athletes applying each year to do just that!

For 2020 we had over 5000 athletes apply to race in Norseman from 94 countries, vying for only 250 places in the hope to achieve the coveted black and white finisher tees.

In our first season on Norseman Radio we explore the beginnings of Norseman with founder Hårek Streinham and dive deeper into our athletes' journey’s and their best triathlon advice.

We hope you enjoy our conversations and if you’re curious about Norseman, check us out on Facebook and Instagram @NXTRI.

From a Red Sofa to Norseman with Louise Minchin
BBC Presenter Louise Minchin gave up competitive sport at age 15, because she didn’t like the way she looked. Now thirty years later, she’s raced in World Championships and extreme triathlons, including Norseman. We talk about her incredible return journey into sports, from the BBC Breakfast sofa to GB Team Triathlete, and how she’s helping break down barriers into sports, especially for women.
