北欧留学大使の発起人Renです。今から7年も昔にはなりますが、当時学部生だった僕は、ひょんなきっかけでルンド大学（スウェーデン）に留学することになりました。今となってはこの1年間が、僕の原点といえるほどに大きな経験となり、貴重な財産となっています。今回は、何もかもが新鮮で眩しく見えた留学当時の最初の1か月を振り返ってみました。
