Today I have Dr. Saida Désilets guesting the podcast. She is an author, dancer and a teacher of women empowerment and sexuality. Saida shares how a violent rape and a close encounter with death changed her life, and let her on her path of teaching. She shares her shamanic ceremonies growing up in Canada with her native roots, as well as her shamanic experiences as an adult: Plant medicine, a pure life force current experience and sensory deprivation therapy: The Darkness Retreat. Saida runs retreats in the bushes of Africa, the caves in Hawaii and Greece where she helps women detox Western living and returning to a pre-lingual knowing - a natural human state of mind where communicating with plants and animals is possible.
