006: Studio Culture

Development of positive culture in schools of architecture has been a focus of the American Institute of Architecture Students (AIAS) since the late 1990’s, and this concept has developed over the past two decades into Learning and Teaching Culture Policies. In this episode, we talked about studio culture as a whole and answered the following questions:

What were our expectations going into architecture school?
What did we each go through at UTA? How do you think your background or upbringing played into that?
How do you feel now? Would you change something?
