Allah swt says in the Qur’an (49:13) People, We created you all… and made you into races and tribes so that you should recognize one another.

An important part of gaining perspectives is to listen to and learn from people who are different from us. We wanted to hear the different cultures of Ramadhan, so we decided to invite some friends from different parts of the world.

In our first episode of this series, we’re joined by Ahmed from Hadramot, Yemen. Ahmed grew up in Yemen and moved to the US in the spring of 2015 for higher education, and he is currently a civil engineer working in Boston.
