The story: When I pitched my web series, Anxiety Boys (https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhfAzSf7VBqOKmyPQF-BF9tLA_U-SCjNT) to networks, I was super psyched to get some sexy responses from the executives we were pitching to. But after sending to 11 different folks, we got zero mother effing follow-up meetings. It was chalked up to being due to the show having 'no star power', which means that it doesn't have any celebrities in it. So we just threw it up on YouTube for free instead. After telling this story to a close friend's mother, she suggested my next project use that term as its title, which I thought was really funny. So that's the name of this podcast now. And so and yeah. And so and that's the story aha.
