No Regrets Podcast: Episode 36 (Unstick Your Training)

Welcome back to our podcast! We are super excited to be providing “information about things” again! If you are new here… let’s just say you signed up for all the fitness, coaching, programming and random life chats. We love to chat about what’s going on each week, as well as answer any question you have for us. You can ask those when I post for them on my IG stories or email them to me at getthatfusenews@gmail.com This week’s chat: - catching up - Becca is scared about what people are doing out there - BOLT Fantasy Football Questions We Answered: 1.) I would like your advice on 2 things I'm a 26 year old girl, training 5-6 days a week - most of it is CrossFit style, with more emphasis on strength exercises, weightlifting, conditioning and running, and most of the time I fall between L2 and L3. Lately I've noticed myself getting stronger and more fit, but I still feel very stuck Despite my general improvement, my back squat stays pretty much the same and I have no idea how to improve that, and it makes me lose confidence Another thing I struggle with is getting under the bar in Snatches and OHS. I find power snatches easier, and can't get myself to squat under the bar. I believe it's a combination of lack of confidence in the overhead position along with a mental barrier. What's your advice for overcoming that? I see other girls lifting heavy and in my head I know I could do it too, but then I get in front of the barbell and I just can't I find comparison so irrelevant and silly, but I guess I just want to show myself that I can do what I believe I can 2.) What’s your plan for the upcoming CrossFit season? 3.) Has anyone told you you look like Bjork (when she was younger)? 4.) If you were a fruit, which one would you be? 5.) Crash Crucible? 6.) Coach Jen’s Question of the week. If someone gave you a box of all the things you've lost in your life, what would you be most excited to find?
